Michelin: Michelin launches its new "Alpin" tire in HD
3D animation Michelin Alpin
The brief

Synthese Video wins the tender to implement the launch of the new Michelin "Alpin A4" video-clip. High definition 3D animations are to outline and explain the technical innovations of Michelin. A simulation in computer graphics, cut in 11 animations, highlights the characteristics and developments of the new Michelin "Alpin A4" tire, successor of the "Alpin A3" which is already on the market.

HD : lHD movies are here in high definition for HDTV viewing, in a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
11 total animations demonstrate the effectiveness of this tire on all types of roads. Whatever the weather, the tire grips to the asphalt.

he behavior of the tire depending on weather conditions necessitated the use of Maya physical effects for the rendering of rain, black ice and snow.

The animations of the sliced tire enable to show the work of the gum in curve, and its performance in acceleration and braking situations.

Other simulations compare the new release to its predecessor (composition and greater surface area) and analyze its technical structure, active tread, composition and its benefits: behavior on wet, snowy or icy roads, grip, durability and energy efficiency. Result: Other simulations compare the new release to its predecessor (composition and greater surface area) and analyze its technical structure, active tread, composition and its benefits: behavior on wet, snowy or icy roads, grip, durability and energy efficiency. Result: very technical 3D simulations and a difficult rendering on a dark and warped area.

The confidentiality of the project only enabled us to show here the first of the following animations: the launch of the convention unveiling the new Alpin 4 tire generation whenever it shines, rains, freezes or snows.
